And while the boy's animations are a bit clunky, some of the other characters, such as a giant spider that hunts you through a good portion of the game, are quite articulate. The world is depicted in all black and white, with black silhouettes against a white background, and despite the game's tiny file size (123MB), there's a lot going on here, visually – excellent lighting effects, atmospheric fog, particles of dust and grass blowing in the wind, and subtle differences in camera focus, along with the interesting details that litter the world itself, all help to bring this game to life.
